The Australian Butterfly Sanctuary is a spell-binding experience as you wander through pristine gardens with thousands of butterflies floating through the air.

Opened in 1987, the Sanctuary is located in the heart of Kuranda Village, with all butterflies the reared on the premises. Free guided tours detail various interesting and little known aspects of a butterfly’s life cycle and behaviour.
