The Rainforest Habitat

The Rainforest Habitat Wildlife Sanctuary in Port Douglas is a leading wildlife immersion exhibit, providing visitors with a chance to observe up close a huge range of flora and fauna.

Opened in 1988 to provide a window into our natural environment, visitors can wander through three unique recreated environments depicting The Rainforest, The Wetlands, and The Grasslands. Rainforest Habitat joined CaPTA in 2005.
