Kuranda Village is situated 30 minutes by road from Cairns City, 20 minutes from the Northern Beaches, and 1 hour from Port Douglas.

- Rainforestation Nature Park, situated on the Kennedy Highway only 5 minutes from Kuranda Village;
- Australian Butterfly Sanctuary, situated on Rob Veivers Drive in the heart of Kuranda Village.
