In July 2008, CaPTA in conjunction with the Career Training Institute of Australia (CTIA) formed a new training organisation - CaPTA Training Centre. The centre enables individuals and businesses alike to increase skills and broaden employment opportunities through education and training within the Tourism and Hospitality industry in Far North Queensland.
The strategic alliance with CTIA allows CaPTA Training Centre to develop and deliver tailor-made, flexible, reliable registered courses to individuals, companies in the region to meet the needs of employer’s, industry and potential staff. These courses will improve service and skill levels in the areas of tourism, hospitality and business.

Training is designed and delivered using highly interactive principals, skills and techniques that will maximize the training results whether in attitude, skills or knowledge.
The CaPTA Training Centre aims to bring businesses a diverse range of new employees into the Hospitality and Tourism Industry that ensures they continue to grow and perform at the peak of the industry well into the future.
